RoofTX Optima Breathable Roofing Membrane 92GSM - 1m x 25m
The RoofTX® collection comprises a CE and UKCA-certified series of three-layer roofing underlays and breather membranes with vapour permeability, air barriers, and low resistance (LR). These products are specifically engineered to enable the passage of moisture while effectively resisting air penetration.
Don & Low designed the RoofTX® underlays with moisture transfer in mind mitigating the risk of condensation within the roof structure and ensuring optimal protection against the elements. Notably, the RoofTX® range has obtained Agrement certification from BBA in the UK, affirming its suitability for warm non-ventilated, cold-ventilated, and non-ventilated pitched roof systems and walling. Additionally, it has received IAB approval in Ireland.
RoofTX® is well-suited for various roofing applications, including fully supported or unsupported cold and warm systems. The comprehensive range comprises six distinct products, each differing in weight and construction, catering to diverse roofing underlay and breather membrane requirements.
RoofTX® Optima is a low-resistance vapour permeable air barrier roofing underlay. It is durable, flexible & lightweight allowing for easy installation, and offers temporary protection against wind driven rain, snow & dust. RoofTX® Optima conforms to the Construction Products Regulation (EU Regulation No. 305/2011), Underlay for discontinuous roofing (Annex ZA of EN 13859-1) and is manufactured under control of an ISO 9001 quality management system.
