Supatile Lightweight Metal Roof - 10 Pack of Screw Fixings - 35mm - Grey
Supatile Screw and Washer Fixings are the dedicated fixings that hold the whole roof together. They are used to fix the tile sheets, barge boards, ridges and ridge end caps, so a single fixing does the job across the entire system. Each one is a 35mm self-drilling screw with a large head and a bonded sealing washer, so it bites straight into the base without pre-drilling and seals the hole against water as it tightens.
The heads are dark to blend with the charcoal tile sheets, keeping the finished roof clean and unobtrusive. The fixings are corrosion-resistant and weatherproof, designed to last as long as the roof they secure.
Supplied in a pack of 10, which is enough to fix a single tile sheet with one to spare, so it is easy to order exactly what you need and keep a few in reserve. For larger projects, the fixings are also available in a trade pack of 100.
Note to customer: If multipe packs are ordered, then they may not be individually wrapped but the correct number of fixings will be supplied.

How many fixings do I need?
Allow 9 fixings per tile sheet and 3 per barge board, plus a few for each ridge cap and one for each ridge end cap. As a quick guide, one bag of 10 covers a single tile sheet with a spare. For a worked example, a roof using 16 tile sheets needs around 144 fixings for the sheets alone, which is at least 15 bags, before adding the barge boards, ridges and end caps. Add up the components on your roof, multiply out, then divide by 10 and round up.
What size are the fixings?
They are 35mm long, self-drilling, with a large head and a bonded sealing washer that weatherproofs each fixing point.
Do I need any special tools?
No. Because they are self-drilling, you do not need to pre-drill. A power screwdriver is all that is required to install the whole roof.
Are they weatherproof?
Yes. The bonded washer seals each hole as the screw tightens, and the fixings are corrosion-resistant, so every fixing point stays watertight.
What colour are the heads?
Dark, so they blend into the charcoal tile sheets and stay discreet on the finished roof.
